Loved the route
I didn’t see any water on the 5 mile route…
Although the 5 mile route was well signposted & the marshals were on each corner, I did hear that others on the half marathon route found that, at times they were unsure of the route as not well marked.. maybe a consideration for next year. Having said that, I loved the route & the lovely friendly atmosphere. Thank you

Parking & route to be improved
Parking is an issue, something to consider for next year.
The trail run could be a better route, twice around the park at the beginning is lame and the out and back route isn’t the best way to see the downs landscape, definitely could be improved next year.
Good atmosphere at the start, bag drop and extra loos very good.
Clive Walker
Fantastic race on a challenging but stunning course.
Alex Cook
Awesome scenario and a great challenge
Finishers medal was terrible and very disappointing
James Lanzon
This is a brilliant event which takes through some wonderful countryside. It was my first Three Forts race but I've already entered for next year. It's definitely challenging but very enjoyable
Jules Hampson
Amazing event! First time running the 5mile trail run and will definitely be back next year!

Outstanding well organized event both leading up to and on the day.
Thoroughly enjoyable 3 Forts HM challenge. All communication leading up to the event was clear and helpful. The Marshalls were excellent and supportive. A great event all round.
Michelle Farndell
Great scenery, great support, great snacks. A race not to be missed.
If the volunteers giving out numbers could be organised in alphabetical order of the letters they are giving out rather than randomly, this might make queuing clearer, a minor point though, thank you.

Excellent race and organisation, in a glorious part of the country
Really good. Challenging for those that want to run fast, but gentle enough for those that want to be a bit more relaxed.
sharon walker
very friendly , low key but enough people to be an event
Really great event . only thing is it could do with a few more direction signage. Saw people go wrong.
Elaine Quirk
A well organised, friendly event on beautiful trails
The marshals and aid stations well organised
Jon Connorton
Wonderful views and atmosphere
My first race in over ten years. Was such good fun. Everyone was really friendly and the aid stations were well stocked. The views were amazing at the top. Really enjoyed it.

A nice day out.
Probably could have done with one more volunteer on the Marathon Registration to avoid the wait but other than that all good.
Jeff Hill
Excellent location - challenging but highly recommended

My favourite race. Friendly and well organised in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
The town crier, man on the mic and the cheerful volunteers really make it a unique special event.
James Luto
My first Marathon and a bit, it was tough but lots of encouragement along the way and everybody having fun!,
The sliced oranges at the Chanctonbury Ring stop were just the hit I needed. Hope to see you next year!
Sarah James
Loved the whole event! Booked for next year!
There was no water for the dogs after the run until I raised it.
Paul Hutchings
wonderful friendly challenge event
Mat Sunderlnad
Great Half Marathon with friendly organisers and great cakes.
I’ll be honest the cakes get my vote. Everything else is just running. Love this event have competed for years. Getting ready to take on the marathon one day!

FABULOUS THREE FORTS HALF MARATHON
Fabulous event !
Unfortunately I had such a good time that I am now trying to get fast enough to take part in the Marathon next year............
Loved the atmosphere that the DJ and Town Crier help to create!
Only two very minor observations:
* On driving up from the A27 I followed a number of cars to see where to park, some parked in the Allotments car park. I didn't realise how close the college (parking) was and didn't see any signage on the way up that road. It might reduce the number of cars parked outside the residences - no guarantee though, you know what runners are like, we don't like walking too far to start a race !
* The info on Facebook was very useful - and timely - I now remember seeing the lovely cakes which were baked for us, but I didn't know where to look to find them. Admittedly, I was so high from having finished, they weren't top of my mind.
So many Thank You's spring to mind, not least of all, Portaloos - Thank You for providing enough so that the pre-race queue was very short.
