Terms and Conditions of Entry

Marathon / Half Marathon

  • All routes must be completed within 6 hours.
  • All entrants must be fit to take part and, if necessary, should seek advice from their GP.
  • Both courses are multi-terrain and involve steep climbs. The routes are mainly downland tracks which may be uneven and slippery when wet
  • Entrants must take care when crossing roads and follow all safety instructions. Marshalling assistance may be given.
  • Whilst every care is taken, entrants cannot hold the organisers or landowners responsible for their safety or the safety of their belongings. Competitors are advised to leave any personal possessions in their car but there will be bag drop (limited to one bag per person) on the field. The organizers will try to secure the bag drop but will accept no responsibility for any bag or its contents left at the bag drop.
  • All entrants must show consideration for other users of the public footpath and rights of way.
  • All entrants must be aged 18 or over on the race day.
  • Entry fees are non-refundable.
  • Headphones are not permitted for safety reasons when on public roads, in accordance with UKA Rule 240 S 5.
  • The organisers reserve the right to withdraw entrants from the event and anyone that continues does so at their own risk.
  • Any runner with a dog must comply with the Kennel Club's Canicross Regulations.
