Fantastic
This is a home half/marathon and shows off the best of the SDW with elevation, stunning scenery and ancient trails. Great organisation, aid stations and a real club feeling. Love it!

All the half marathon aid stations were excellent.
Maybe people need a bit more structured warning, as to when they should arrive, to manage registration, the toilet and bag drop.
Parking was very convenient.

This is a tough event. The cut of time is very tight. Would of preferred a metal medal.

The run has some long hard uphills but on the plus side you get to run down once you’ve reached the top

A beautiful hilly, challenging trail run
It’s only a ‘maybe’ for beginners because the course is tough but it is a very friendly and welcoming run.

Seamless registration and I upgraded which was simple. Great marshaling. Cakes on aid stations. Lovely route and fantastic finish area. Thank you.

Bello il percorso ma non l‘attenzione ai podisti
Parlo della mezza maratona. La gara é stata bellissima, percorso segnalato, ristori con cibo e acqua molto ben organizzati.
Sono arrivata prima donna e non c’è stato neppure il nastro di arrivo! Nessuna premiazione, insomma una delusione per me. Dopo 21km di fatica neppure un podio dove festeggiare il primo posto. Spero davvero di ricevere un bel premio e anche (in aggiunta al premio) l‘iscrizione gratuita per l anno prossimo. Sperando che l‘anno prossimo siano premiati sul palco almeno i primi 3 uomini e le prime 3 donne assolute.

Great run and scenery is glorious
Parking was on the street and not organised. Everything else- food stations were well stocked and variety of snacks. No TShirts given at the end when we were told there were.

Stunning, scenic and a great event
Such a well organised event, brilliantly marshalled and a fantastic route that shows off a beautiful part of the country. The South Downs really do take some beating! It's a tough course for sure but I loved it
