Favourite Race!
I’d 100% recommend this event to anyone looking to do a trail run. Fantastic organisation & atmosphere & views that can’t be beaten! The addition of the 5 miler is welcome for anyone not ready/brave enough for the bigger races

Great scenery and challenging route, very well organised with friendly and lively atmosphere.
The terrain is very hard a lot of the time, (chalk / flint / gravel), so softer shoes may be preferable to train shoes.

Beautiful route but challenging as paths are flinty and rutted - but that's the South Downs.
First time I have run this and really enjoyed it. It can be tough going at some stages but the beautiful scenery makes up for it.

A wonderful, challenging, scenic and friendly race.
I've done the 3 forts marathon around 3 times now and it feels like a lovely community event, with runners really well supported by marshalls around the course, all at a reasonable price. Thanks for your efforts in putting this on!

I loved this run. I ran the 5 mile with my dog and it was a great event. The first hill’s tough but after that the views are stunning. It was well organised and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Deferral option?
Unfortunately I could not run the race today due to injury, which was so disappointing. Would have been lovely to have an option to defer my entry to 2024, when hopefully I will be fit.
